Everyone’s favorite New Angler, Brian Alford, and I went on a little adventure in Miami. We found Jimbo’s Place on Virginia Key. Words cannot describe this place. Pictures don’t do that place justice. Especially without the local element front and center. I’m one hundred percent positive you could of gotten a cheap half and half, any type of drug (street or prescription) and just about any type of drink (excluding Coors Light apparently). Mike forgot to mention the raggaeton video that was moments away from being shot before we hightailed it out of there. Place was definitely scary and amazing. Hot, long shower afterwards.
I think Jimbos was the “overflow” from last weekends bluegrass festival. Not sure if you got that.
That place is awesome!! I have been there several times to do photo shoots.
The shakes that are out from by the road were built in the 60′s 70′s or 80′s, I can’t remember, for a movie that was filed there and then left by the production crew. Other movies and shows have been filmed there, including but not limited to Burn Notice!
Bummer this place was shut down a couple weeks ago.
